Pastor Rodney L. Carter, Jr. is the Lead Pastor of Greater Mt. Calvary Holy Church and a passionate, dynamic preacher known for connecting the Gospel message with academic insight. Called to preach at the age of five, he was licensed at 14, ordained at 27, and has pursued both ministry and education, earning degrees from Lancaster Bible College and currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry. He previously served as Co-Lead Pastor at Grace Church in Reading, PA, where he led digital and outreach ministries impacting hundreds weekly. Since 2021, he has served faithfully under Archbishop Alfred A. Owens, Jr. and was installed as Lead Pastor on February 24, 2024. Pastor Carter’s mission is to exalt Christ, equip believers, and embrace the community through vibrant preaching and leadership. He and his wife, Cherese, are proud parents of three children and serve together to help others discover their purpose in Christ.
